Nicolas has played a leading role repositioning the resource sector as a broker for economic growth. Over the years, he developed pioneering approaches to mitigating sovereign risk; unlocking the economic potential of infrastructure synergies; delivering multi-stakeholder investment platforms; and structuring innovative grant-making agencies.

Following 15 years across senior roles in the resource industry, he co-founded the consulting firm Ergo Strategy Group and its sister organisation Highgrade Media, the acclaimed video interview series that promotes innovative practice in natural resources-led development.
